Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and MAKELARK Studios (“we”) for using Chkobba GO and its online services. By installing or playing the game, you accept them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the game.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data and is part of these terms.
Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old to play Chkobba GO. If you’re under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and supervise any purchases.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in secure. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
- One person, one account. Don’t sell, trade, share or transfer accounts.
- Usernames must not impersonate anyone or be offensive. We may change or remove a username that breaks these terms.
Coins, gems and virtual items
Chkobba GO is not gambling. Coins and gems are virtual and have no real-world value. They can’t be exchanged for money, cashed out or sold, and nothing you win in the game can be redeemed for real money or prizes.
- Coins you enter into a match and the prizes you win are virtual game currency only.
- We grant you a limited, personal licence to use virtual items in the game. You don’t own them, and they can’t be transferred outside the features the game provides.
- We may change prices, rewards and how items work to keep the game balanced. If the game closes, virtual items end with it.
- Balances are decided by our servers. If a bug credits you something you weren’t meant to get, we may correct it.
Purchases
Purchases are made through Google Play or the Apple App Store and follow their terms. Unless the law or the store’s refund policy says otherwise, purchases are final once the item is delivered. If something you paid for didn’t arrive, contact support with your order ID and we’ll fix it.
Ads
The game shows ads, including optional rewarded ads. A reward is only given once Google confirms the ad was completed, and it follows the same rules as other virtual items.
Playing fair
When you play, you agree not to:
- cheat, use bots, modified apps or exploits, or deliberately abuse bugs;
- team up with other players to fix matches, or lose on purpose to move coins between accounts;
- harass or threaten anyone, or send hateful, sexual or illegal content;
- spam, scam, or share someone else’s personal information;
- interfere with our servers, or try to access accounts or data that aren’t yours.
Some opponents in public matchmaking and practice modes are computer-controlled, and their profile shows it.
Reports and enforcement
You can report a player by emailing makelarkstudios@gmail.com. If you break these terms we may warn you, remove content, reset progress gained unfairly, or suspend or close your account. For serious or repeated violations we may act without notice.
Our content
The game, its art, cards, characters, sounds and code, and the MAKELARK and Chkobba GO names and logos, belong to MAKELARK Studios or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute them, except where the law expressly allows it.
Changes and availability
We keep improving the game, so features, modes and content may change or be removed. Online features need an internet connection and may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may update these terms; if a change is significant we’ll tell you in the game, and continuing to play means you accept it.
Disclaimers and liability
The game is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses or for loss of virtual items. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be excluded.
Ending this agreement
You can stop playing at any time and delete your account. We may end these terms or close your account as described above, or if we stop offering the game.
Disputes
If something goes wrong, email us first at makelarkstudios@gmail.com and we’ll try to sort it out. Nothing in these terms takes away your right to bring a claim in the courts where you live if your local consumer law gives you that right.
